On the 20th of July it was International Moon Day!
Moonstone is a gemstone admired for its blue to white adularescence. Adularescene is an optical phenomenon that is produced in gemstones like moonstone. Despite being somewhat fragile, this alternative June birthstone is a popular choice for jewellery.
We have a small collection of moonstone jewellery on the Gold Reserves website from necklaces to rings!

The General Assembly declared International Moon Day, a United Nations-designated international day to be observed annually on 20 July.
International Moon Day marks the anniversary of the first landing by humans on the Moon as part of the Apollo 11 lunar mission.
The celebrations will also acknowledge the achievements of all States in the exploration of the Moon and raise public awareness of sustainable Moon exploration.
