Diamonds to be ONE girls best friend...

PictureDiamonds are a girls best friend, we know… It also seems that Swansea’s Peter Middleton knows one or two things about the diamond business having now established The Diamond Mine Brand in South West Wales to give great quality diamonds to the customer. The Director of ‘The Diamond Mine’ at Gold Reserves is now going to help one woman's dream of owning a real bit of super-bling come true. For his company is going to offer somebody the chance to actually ‘create’ their own bespoke diamond pendant necklace worth more than £3,000. This ‘sparkling’ opportunity will take place at a charity ball in Swansea in November this year, raising money for Swansea's Maggie's Cancer Care Centre at Singleton Hospital with The South Wales Evening Post. Peter Middleton said: "Like most others, close family members and friends have been touched on some level by cancer. I have even brushed against it myself a few years back. I will never forget the feelings I had that day sitting in the cancer unit behind Singleton Hospital awaiting a prognosis from the consultant. So it's a pleasure to support this ball at the Marriott Hotel in November and play my part towards helping the charity." As guests arrive to the ball on the evening, anyone who buys a glass of champagne (kindly donated by The Marriot Hotel) on their entrance into the ball also gets with it a special 'diamond ticket' thanks to The Diamond Mine. One of these special tickets will be drawn out at the end of the evening by host Kevin Johns. The winner will then be able to create their own diamond pendant necklace – a perfect treat JUST in time for Christmas Guests will also enjoy complimentary gift bags on the tables as they arrive and be dazzled by a diamond ice sculpture in the Rhossili bar of the Marriott courtesy of The Diamond Mine It is the third year that the event has taken place to help fund Maggies. Mr Middleton said he was both " proud and privileged" to support the event adding: "We are very much hoping vital funds are raised to help the centre in Swansea and promote the support and care for those affected and their families. We are looking forward to what is now a prestigious and well loved ball and personally I am very humbled to be able to help such a meaningful and caring charity." Tickets for the ball are £50 per person; which includes a three course meal and entertainment. All proceeds from the evening on November 14th will go to Maggie's Swansea.
