Pots Of Gold For The Freya Bevan Fund

From Ospreys players and coaches supporting the fund to Katherine Jenkins wearing the Freya Bevan ‘bracelet’ at one of her recent gigs in England, it seems Freya has captured the heart of South Wales. And now, local Swansea business, ‘Gold Reserves Jewellers’ are the latest to support and help the Freya Bevan Fund. MD and owner of Gold Reserves Jewellers that has 3 stores in South Wales, Peter Middleton, wanted to help and support the fund to try and raise as much money for this little girl as possible. Freya Bevan from Neath was diagnosed with a P.N.E.T Brain Tumour in May of last year. She has gone through two life-threatening operations and had countless cycles of Chemotherapy. Even though she is so young Freya has fought her illness with tremendous courage and despite at times, being in horrendous pain she continues to amaze those around her with her determination. In the last few days its been released that children's charity ‘Kids N cancer’ confirmed Freya had been approved treatment by Dr Chang in Oklahoma, America. Obviously, this is not free so Peter Middleton Of Gold Reserves has pledged his support through his hugely successful ‘Gold Buying’ business that he runs alongside the jewellery store in Swansea. Peter Middleton says of the fundraising activity: “Any customer can now come into the Swansea store to sell their unwanted gold on behalf of the Freya Bevan fund. Customers simply need to make it clear that it’s for the Freya Bevan Fund and all the money of that is given for their jewellery will go directly to the fund to raise as much money as possible. It’s the least we can do to help this beautiful little girl get the right treatment and help she needs. Having a young family myself, it’s something I feel very strongly about and want to do as much as I can to help.” The store also has collection buckets that are filling fast – with Peter Middleton personally match funding the total raised in the buckets for the fund. “You can make a difference to the Freya Bevan Fund by clearing out your old jewellery, selling it at Gold Reserves, with the money going straight to the fund.” This week has already seen a surge in customers selling their unwanted gold and silver to help the cause… If you’d like to donate to the Freya Bevan Fund via Gold Reserves by selling your jewellery then please pop into the Swansea Market store and ask for more details.
