What happens to the gold after I sell it?
The gold is re-processed in the UK in adherence to the strict environmental standards enforced in this Country.

Is it safe to send my Gold by post?
A  We only use Royal Mail Special Delivery postage and by using the envelope bag we provide, your gold is fully insured for up to a value of up to £500.

How will I know if you receive my goods?

There will be a Royal Mail special delivery number allocated to the envelope that you send into us which will enable you to track your items every step of the way before it reached our premises. Once it reaches our premises it will be signed for and an evaluation expert will verify its contents.

Are there any hidden fees or commissions attached to selling my Gold with Gold Reserves.co.uk?

No. Unlike many internet-only Gold Buying firms, there are no Handling charges, separation charges, testing charges, charges for gemstone removal or any type of commissions when you use our service – GUARANTEED!
    
How long as the Company been trading?

Can I bring my Gold to your premises?

How long before I receive payment?
Once your items have been valued and verified we will send out a cheque the same working day by Royal mail 'signed for'  first class post. You should therefore receive full payment within 24 working hours of us receiving your parcel.

Is it ok to send items of mixed carat?
Yes, we accept Gold of any carat and will manually separate items when we receive them and price accordingly.

Is it ok to include gold items that are not hallmarked?

Yes, as long as the items are made from Gold or Platinum we can determine the purity using out testing equipment and price accordingly.

Should I send my jewellery boxed?
No, simply place all jewellery loose within the bag we provide.

What happens if there is a lot of non-gold i.e. gem stones included in my jewellery?
Don’t worry. Our trained staff use specialist Trading Standards approved gold scales. They accurately weigh all items and remove and allow for any non-Gold content.

Is it OK to post Silver items?
A - No, Silver needs to be brought in to one of our stores.
